Cherry Stone Pillow - Green

Cherry stone pillows have been used in Switzerland for centuries as a simple way to provide natural hot or cold relief. Ours are filled with cherry stones reclaimed from the jam-making industry, allowing the pillow to shape comfortably to the body. When warmed, the stones release a gentle, moist heat that helps ease tight muscles, joint pain, cramps, or simply warm cold hands and feet. Used cold, the pillow can help reduce inflammation, soothe headaches, or offer relief during hot flushes. Each one is handmade from organic cotton at the Soap Folk studio in the Stroud Valleys. They are unscented, although the cherry stones give off a light, natural aroma when warm, and come in a choice of cherry red or teal green.

Instructions

For warm use, you can lightly moisten the pillow with a few drops of water before heating so it releases gentle moisture. Heat only in a microwave, placing the pillow flat in the centre of a clean turntable. Stay with the microwave at all times.
Heating guidance:

Under 800w: 1 minute 30 seconds

800–1000w: 1 minute

Handle carefully when removing. Do not place the pillow under blankets, as it may continue to heat. Allow it to return to room temperature before reheating. If the cover becomes damaged, stop using and do not heat again.

For cold use, wrap the pillow in a towel or cloth bag and place it in the fridge or freezer for about an hour. Use a barrier such as a towel between the cold pillow and your skin to prevent freezer burn.
