Did you know that many of our most enduring and best-loved sweeties have their origins as traditional herbal remedies; the recipes for which may be found amongst the pages of centuries old herbals, books of receipts and pharmacopoeias?

This enthralling delicious herbology short course shares some of the ‘secrets’ of this early sugar craft and enables you to make some very moreish and therapeutic (!) comfits and candies of your own - not to be missed!

This is an in-person course running at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Participants must be 16+
