Product Description

Hand glazed in Emerald and made with Italian premium clay. Fired at extremely high temperatures, these terracotta pots are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Proper drainage will give your plants roots room to breath while the superior clay retains moisture. Made by hand in Italy.

Care Guidelines

Pre-Soaking: Before planting, soak both the inside and outside of the pot in water for 20–30 minutes. This hydrates the clay and ensures proper breathability.

Planting & Drainage: Fill the bottom 1/4 of the pot with drainage stones (such as LECA or gravel) to prevent clogging of drainage holes.

Maintenance: Over time, pots will develop a natural patina. For a cleaner look, gently scrub with water and a soft brush.

Winter Care:

Keep Elevated: Raise pots at least 2 cm off the ground using pot feet, small rocks, or wooden blocks.
Prevent Waterlogging: Allow water to drain freely to avoid freezing, which can damage the pot.
Protection: In very cold climates, wrap large, unprotected pots in bubble wrap or fleece.
Glazed Pots: Bring glazed pots indoors during winter as they are not frost-proof.

Indoor Use: Saucers are treated with a silicone-based solution to make them waterproof and suitable for indoor use.
