This two-day course looks at how to identify fungi using a combination of field and microscopic characteristics. Participants will be shown the many different characteristics that separate fungi into their ‘form’ genera, and taught how to apply these to identification keys. This practical workshop will include a day in the field, where you will be shown how to collect specimens for later identification in the classroom, and an introduction to microscopy.
