This ten-week theory course introduces a range of topics from soil science to garden design, as well as some suggestions for learning more about horticulture from libraries, lectures and the internet. Suitable as an overview of horticulture for absolute beginners, or as a stepping stone to the RHS (level 2) Certificate in Horticulture. You need no deep knowledge of science before you begin, but enthusiasm for gardening will be an advantage.
This is an in-person course running at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Participants must be 16+
