V&A Kimono Textiles Calendar 2026
V&A Kimono Textiles Calendar 2026
Since its founding, the V&A Museum has collected Japanese art and design, building one of the world’s most comprehensive collections. Many of the works come from the Edo (1615–1868) and Meiji (1868–1912) periods, when textile craftsmanship flourished.
This calendar showcases a selection of intricately embroidered kimono details, highlighting the exquisite weaving techniques, auspicious symbolism, and rich storytelling woven into these traditional garments. Each month is paired with informative text, while the date pad includes previous and next month’s views.
