Autumn Textures

This two-day masterclass will focus on painting autumnal subject matter, dried leaves, pods/seeds acorns and conkers. We will pay close attention to capturing the different textures, from silky pods to shiny dark seeds. Rachel will also talk about her work from her PhD project illustrating herbarium specimens at Kew Gardens to her more recent commercial commissions, from botanical illustration and gardening books to fabric and wall art for an Italian hotel.
